The 2002 World Championship Cheese Contest was a great success, and the

Within minutes of the judges’ placings, participants and observers worldwide were able to see the results and track their favorite cheeses. Even though most of the world’s cheese makers and enthusiasts live too far away to attend the contest in person, the extensive day-by-day photo gallery gave everyone a glimpse of the action at the contest.  Live streaming video of the championship round ReQuest brought together the contest site, a media firm, WCMA and their web site to broadcast over three hours of live video from the championship round using the popular Real Video™ format. With little room for error, the broadcast was seamless, making the contest more accessible and interactive than ever before for hundreds of participants and observers in the comfort of their homes and/or offices. |
